Who we are
A family business that keeps growing
JD Tax & Accounting Corp is a family business. It all started in La Villita more than 35 years ago, when notary public Jesús Dávila Sr., originally from Zacatecas, Mexico, opened his doors with one simple conviction: every immigrant family deserves clear information and honest guidance to build their future in this country.
Today I lead that firm. I’m Jesús Dávila Jr. — born and raised in Chicago, in that same Zacatecan family. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in management and business, and I’m an Enrolled Agent, federally authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS. I’m also an IRS Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA): I can certify your passport for the ITIN process, so your original document doesn’t have to travel to the IRS. For 15 years I’ve helped individuals and small businesses grow and get through the hard moments.
I always tell my clients the same thing: you focus on your work and on making more money — the IRS, the filings and everything else, I’ll handle. More than an accountant, I see myself as an advisor: my job is to help you understand the tax impact of your decisions, plan ahead, and start building your assets, your savings and your retirement.

This is the team at our La Villita office, where it all began and where we keep serving our people. Every return and every filing passes through hands that train continuously and serve you in your language. Very soon we’ll add the team from our new Hermosa office here too.
